Everyone talks about the "Cloud," but what is available to the content creation community? We have seen services for storing, rendering, and collaboration in the cloud. The killer question is; “How to build a system that has interactivity?”
We will hear from the team at BeBop Technology on how they planned and built an interactive and enabling software platform for post-production in the Cloud, and one that allows creatives to use the same tools and workflows they already do. What were the design goals, what challenges did they face, and how did they bring the technology partners together to make it possible? And now that the industry’s Cloud revolution has begun… what will the next stages in its evolution look like?
Technicolor will present Technicolor PULSE, providing the connection between the set and the cloud. Clients connect to PULSE from around the world with web or mobile interface, in real time, while maintaining the security required for Hollywood production content. PULSE manages and processes all forms of production content: documents, images, audio, video, and original camera footage.
